Aproximar is a chaos sorcerer cursed with having the approximate knowledge of nearly everything in the known universe, one needs simply to ask and he may have an answer. Of course, depending on how vague or exact you are in your question will change the approximation of the answer, such as asking the location of a planet not on known space charts. Aproximar would gesture towards and a cluster of stars and mention "its somewhere about there. . ish". If you asked for the passcode to an ancient Dark Age vault, he would give you a string of letters and numbers, but would be unsure if they're the first half, latter half or even in the right order. Despite having only estimations and not any solid answers, he is highly sought after by nearly every possible faction in the known galaxy and finds himself constantly on the run. How he came about with this curse is unknown, as even that knowledge has escaped him.

Originally Aproximar went by the name Sathariel, as he is counted among the Fallen Dark Angels. Over time he regretted his actions on Caliban and attempted to find a way to redeem himself, resulting in his current state. To hide himself, he got acquainted with Gorath the Easily Irritated's warband, going on many clandestine adventures with the Alpha Legionnaire. This came to an abrupt end when the warband was called upon to engage the Blood Angel battle barge, the Blood Caller, which could have fared better, in Aproximar's estimated opinion. Gorath was captured, the warband disbanded and in loyalty for his heterosexual life-partner, Aproximar attempted to free him from becoming a Deathwatch Blackshield.

That went about as you would expect.

Ingred Quinzel, the extremely radical Inquisitor who demanded Gorath become a part of her Inquisitorial retinue, also demanded to take charge of Aproximar. She did this not only because she would be in control of the man with approximate all-knowing, but she couldn't have herself to blame for breaking up the two. She eager awaits the day when the two will finally admit their "true feelings" for one another, to which Aproximar states that will not likely happen. Maybe. Most likely. Probably not.

Aproximar's right greave is also possessed by a benevolent daemon named Jerry, who manifested specifically because Aproximar got bored and lonely and needed someone to talk to. He's a good listener but really needs to work on that attitude of his.
