This art inspired me to make a new monster for my D&D group to fight.

If Gila monsters were in fallout this is what I expect them to look like

A Gila monster right out of hell and it's not looking for you to pet it. It does want you however - in its mouth. An arm or leg will not sate this nasty beastie of its appetite for man-flesh. And Badass Gila will get his man-flesh when you least expect it; he's always waiting, always hungry.
The landscape is a mire? The look is dreary, the ground seems moist, and the decaying stump all reminds me of a bog/mire. If not, regardless, the scene is still very dreary. Gives it a lot of atmosphere. Something I personally like.

Fun-Fact:
The Gila-monster's venom is very effective as a component for diabetes-medicine...! Β

That is one fearsome looking basilisk.
Wizards of the Coast needs to get you to draw the art for the next Monstrous Manual.

you're welcome dude. Reminds me of a salamander, especially with those extra legs.

I find it's interesting with dragon relatives with six limbs, as dragons had six limbs(four legs, two wings), it's fancy to see creatures of different evolutionary branches.
Isn't biology fun?

Awesome
If Hollywood was ever going to remake The Giant Gila Monster they should use your design

Agree whole heartedly. Gila Monsters are wonderfully named and looking beasties that don't get as much love as they deserve.

Yeah, now works for me, too.
Some kind of hiccup, I guess.
