Now, this is gonna take me a minute to describe.
The pauldrons, gauntlets, legs from the knee down, torsos, backpacks, and the outer parts of the helmet are bright, shining gold. The arms, thighs, and faceplate of the marines are white. And the crest atop the helmet is royal blue (think Ultramarines type blue). Their chapter symbol is basically this: freestencilgallery.com/wp-cont…

My brother came up with this:
For those who came in late...
The Phantom line survives to the heresy, where one Phantom becomes an Astartes and joins the Great Crusade.
The Horus Heresy hits, and he stands his ground, knowing the survival of humanity is with the Emperor.
As he is an Astartes, he trains up a select human to inherit his gene-seed, thereby continuing the line as his "sons" continue his work.
Each subsequent Phantom learns of their heroic past and vows to continue this crusade as it aligns with the emperor's own.
Come M41, the heroic deeds of those from the Phantom line have permeated Imperial records. No longer in the shadows, but a noted, historical figure in their chapter's inner circle, holding a similar position to the Ecclesiarch.
There has now been a Phantom for almost 40,000 years, the most current Phantom (Phantom M41), however, has been censured. Not for any action against his Chapter or the Imperium of Man, but for striking out alone in a major battle, and disappearing at a critical time.
While the battle was won, his disappearance cost more lives than anyone accounted for. The only reason he was not branded a traitor was due to the acknowledgment of the Phantom line, and the fact he disappeared to save hostages being held by the enemy.
So he wanders the galaxy alone, on a 100-year Penitent Crusade, and uses his abilities to assist imperial citizens to the best of his ability.
He now finds himself on a Jungle Death World, where the inhabitants work hard daily to survive both the harsh jungles of their world and the corrupt imperial bureaucracy in power.
Here he finds new purpose and continues the legend of The Phantom.

For a second, I thought the Benedictors were the Emperor’s Children. Then I shrugged off the drugs the Alpha Legion got me with and realized my grave error in mistaking a totally loyal chapter of brothers totally not grown with the gene seed of a traitor with that of an actual traitor legion. I shall commit self-sudoku for this heresy.
