I pussied out on the backgrounds on this one. 6.6I also think this page just about doubles the amount of dialog Berto's ever gotten. POOR BERTO :< Sam is such a sweetheart. He probably shouldn't hang out with Bobby and Jubes. They're gonna keep leading him straight in to temptation. He doesn't need that. He's a southern boy. He can find it himself.

The last row of panels is the shit. Wow. Especially Kitty's face. No, all of their faces. I really can't get how you can draw these recruits so fine. Jamie is such a cutie, and Jubes looks great too.

Those last three panels are an EXPLOSION of WIN. I love the 3 on one side cheering Sam on and the 3 on the other shooting him down. BRILLIANCE. Jamie = still hella cute. Sam is ALSO adorable. And OF COURSE, Scott, Kitty, and Lance's face are just PERFECT. I love Kitty's face the most. REALLY excellent miffed valley girl. Lance may or may not punch somebody. Priceless.
