Description Yes, more of these. No EE isn't going away, I'm still working on it, just working a bit on the script. .... Such that it is 9_9;

This was a hard one. Trying to put into a single image how Pietro is not "normal," and never has been, and how this effected him growing up. I ended up going with a school-yard brawl because I feel school is a good place to typify what his life is.

Plus: Children are freakin' scary. Seriously. That? Up there? Is how I see children. ALL CHILDREN. O____O

I also wished to sort of address all the images I've seen of Pietro running away from a fight, or just losing horribly. That boy? Yeah. He's a scrapper. Just because he's quick doesn't mean the ONLY thing he can do is run.

And he's not above punching a girl, either. XD

... I gave Evan a flattop. Because clearly: That's a hairstyle we NEEDED to be reminded of. O_O Not that you can tell that it's Evan 9,9

This one got dark, pencil wise.

__________________________________________________________________________

When I was 9, I learned survival. Taught myself not to care.

I was my single, good companion. Taking my comfort there.

Up in my room, I planned my conquests. All alone, never asked for a helping hand. No-one would understand.

I never asked the ones who moved below. Just incase they said "No."

Pity the child that has ambition. Knows what he wants to do. Knows that he'll never fit the system others expect him to.

Pity the child who knew his family. Saw their faults, saw the love die before his eyes. Pity the child that wise.

He never asked "Did I cause your distress?" ... just incase they said "Yes."

When I was 12, my father moved out. I wasn't enough to keep him about.

I didn't miss him, he made it perfectly clear that I was a fool and probably queer.

I took the road of least resistance, I had my games to play. I had the skill, and more, the hunger, easy to get away.

Pity the child wiht no such weapons, no defence no escape from the ties that bind. Always a step behind.

I never called to tell him all I'd done. I was only his son.

Pity the child, but not forever. Not if he stays that way. He can get all he ever wanted... if he's prepared to pay.

Pity, instead, the careless father. What he missed, what he lost when he Let me go. And I wonder if he knows...

I wouldn't call, a crazy thing to do. Just incase he says "... who?"

Yeah, Pietro really hauling off and punching someone? MASSIVE friction burn, at least. He may not be as able to beat someone down in close combat situations as Freddy or Lance, but he could run rings around any opponent and put them in a world of hurt through the magic of applied physics.

Children are scary.

I'm not sure if I agree. I mean- the boy isn't built like Lance or say, Colossus (but who IS built like colossus.... except mebbe the Juggernaut/Tinman-from-wizard-of-oz Ass Baby combo ), but he's not lacking for muscles. Combine that with the fact that he can punch you flat out, like- 50 times a second, and you are in for a world of hurt even NOT going into applied physics.

But it's also fun to just run rings around folks and punch them in the ass. XD (see: Shadowed Past)

awsome! I guess most of the brotherhood learnt to scrap at some point, and peitro would fight when he got too pissed off.

Oooh, I like your faceless masses. They are scary *shudders*. Yeah, kids are freaky, they have a strange different logic.

Why would anyone think the only thing Pietro can do is run? He may do it a lot, but it's usually towards a fight, not away from one. Come on, Evan got freakin' bizatch slapped by him in their first episode (which is still freakin' hilarious)!

Wow, Pietro looks like he's going to be feeling THAT tomorrow o.o

Because it's more fun to imagine him as a hysterical , incapable screaming femmy -albino-boy than to actually put any thought into his character. (which, mind you is NOT a critique on the art itself, but rather a disagreement of character portrayal) I will say that fan-fiction is MORE guilty of this than fan-art, but.... there's a reason I don't read fan fiction anymore, isn't there.

Really- I just take my favourite characters FAR too seriously. 9_9 What I need is to get a life. -_- I guess whatever inspires us to draw though... *sigh* My interpretation? Not the only, or the right one. Just happens to be the one I'm rabidly biased for. ^_^;;

My GOD I give you overly verbose answers to questions you didn't even ever actually ask. o___o Sorry. >_>

*cracks up* Thanks for the pics. This is one of the moments where I realize (again) that I don't think I watch the same show everyone else does. I like to darken my characters quite a lot, find the aspects of their personalities that are not friendly, funny, or explored and latch on to them.

I'm afraid I've done rather horrible things to Sokka from Avatar that may not be entirely accurate .

Trust me, I'm much the same way. I love to explore the territory a kid's show simply can't get in to, and see where the character will go. The unattractive parts are the fun parts.

...Someday I *am* going to get this story out of you. Or Rach. Rach might be easier, I can always bribe her with Lietro fluff .

Verbose is good! It leads to conversation.

Just remember: while Rain's interpretation is very good, it isn't the same as mine. We differ on several very key points. Rain's taken a more unique approach, what I'd call a very "Evo" approach, while I, being the incredible nerd-dork-lame-o I am, have borrowed bits and pieces from my favourite comic story lines.

Someday! I promise. XD

Noted . I'll probably settle for somewhere between the two.

I'm going to hold you to that .

No. This is the INCORRECT way of proposing to you.

*ahem* Marry me a little, love me just enough, warm and sweet and easy, just the simple stuff....

*sudden commitment anxiety*

Listen, everybody, look, I don't know what you're waiting for, a wedding, what's a wedding, it's a prehistoric ritual where everybody promises fidelity forever, which is maybe the most horrifying word I ever heard of, which is followed by a honeymoon, where suddenly she'll realize she's saddled with a nut, and wanna kill me, which she should-
Thanks a bunch, but I'm not getting married-
Go have lunch 'cause I'm not getting married-
You've been grand, but I'm not getting married-
Don't just stand there I'm not getting married-
And don't tell Rain, but I'm not getting married today.

Yeah, Pietro? Yeah, he scraps. That's a scrapper that kid. Pietro also? SO not above hitting a girl. Though, apparently, in Evo, he's more into slappin' people. 9.9;; Maybe he just didn't really want to hurt Evan because they were such good friends in the past.

Pietro: Remember that time you helped me out in that school yard brawl? And you punched Phil Wilkenstein in the ass for me? Remember that? Yeah. Because of that, now, I'll only slap you a little rather than punch you. u.u

Evan: o.o;; thank...you?

I could TOTALLY tell that was Evan. I was going to comment and be like: That up there is my home slice! And everyone would know that "home slice" translates to "Evan". Pietro is a lover AND a fighter and he'll knock a brother out! Yeah, those kids are WAY scary. I like the feel of this picture. Evan is my total fav though. These last four sentences are like ADD! This picture makes me, like, ADD happy....which, I understand in the ADD world is a "good" thing. So...THANKS FOR MAKING ME NEED RIDLIN FOR A FEW MOMENTS BLAZE!
