A photo of a plant or factory that I took when I went to Tennessee (U.S.A) a few years ago.

When I looked at my raw file back then, I was greatly disappointed because I thought it was a horrendous photo. It was all greenish, flat, zero contrast, very little detail, and I hated the way I fit the scene into frame. As it turns out, I had zero understanding of raw files and what they actually do. I also had almost zero experience with post processing.

When I found this photo about a week ago, I analyzed it again with a greater mental library of knowledge I'd learned over the years. I now knew that a raw file contains all of the data necessary to bring out all of the color, details, and tones of the photo. I also now had years of learning and experience with post processing.

So, I dropped this photo into Affinity Photo by Serif and began to make adjustments, such as cropping, color work, tonal work, etc. It took a while, but I finally got a result I could be proud of and enjoy.

I always welcome and encourage feedback on all of my artwork, so please don't hesitate to comment! I believe that there is always something new to learn from anyone and everyone, regardless of experience or skill levels.
