No, I see it as a cocoon where silk worms are knitting beautiful purple flowers to offer them to nature. It's a silk flowers factory. You must have been in a bad mood when you first saw it. Have a glass of wine (or two, or three) and look at it again the way I am describing it.

and i love the colors

i fear i really have some problems with worms.. dunno
have to live in the woods for some time i think..

im totally impressed by the pic
only those things there make it hard for me to love it.

Most people find worms,maggots,caterpillars, etc.. creepy because we are taught as children, that they are creepy. If you tell a child that they are beautiful, they will grow up thinking that they are. I will try to send you a link to a photo of a gorgeous caterpillar and you tell me what you think. I'll see how I can do it later.
