I adore this and appreciates you for this exclusively mysterious and magical work..I am not sure of what you would be your experience in the painting. But according my own spiritual journey with art here is my view... For me it is Manifestation of the the expression of deep silence when some one follows his silence that silence approaches to the gateway of inner world which leads to the inside journey of unknown. But before stepping ahead there come a state where confusions and fears arises and mostly turns back to the outer world. The Left and right openings also symbolizes those choices. The straight path like a tunnel is so expressive and meaningful with a great message... every tunnel has opening at end doesn't matter how much it dark or narrow but at the end seeker will find the door..don't confused or fearful to stepping ahead in the dark paths..who seek and go straight they don not turn from the path doesn't matter if looking like a narrow or scary but at the end seeker will find the light entering into the soul. dear I just said what I felt in your painting... Your experience is very spiritual and wonderful ... Keep it up.... Love and Deep Regards

Thank you very much for your critique, Im glad you think so highly of my work, thank you so much. I really love and appreciate hearing other people's interpretations, so thank you for sharing
Personally, To me, this piece ties in with my other piece "Delusions of Grandeur":
Both are about making decisions. In Delusions of Grandeur, there are three obvious pathways or "choices", however they all go straight down the line, all going in the same direction. This is a representation of tricking yourself into thinking a certain decision matters, and will change things, when deep down we know it will not.
This piece you reviewed however, is about a true decision. Each path or decision goes in a clearly different route, and the object in the middle has very significant meaning. In "Delusions of Grandeur", there is nothing to distract the viewer from picking their path, its a very simple choice, however in this there is a strange object in the way which we must consider first before we can move on. Not even I am quite sure what it is, and to me it has two significant meanings.Β
The first being that in life, generally the best decisions we make are the toughest ones that take the longest time and consideration, decisions we make on a whim tend to end up failing or not effecting us much. The object in the middle represents this, need for consideration, as you have to stop and think and wonder what it is, as opposed to "Delusions of Grandeur" where nothing is stopping you from progressing.
It also represents a man, Β ( all of my "Tunnel" series tell the story of a particular man that can be seen in my piece "Starved as I am, I Pull Back the Curtains":Β
The object shows how miss-shapen and unhuman the man has become by the things he's faced in life, or maybe purely by this decision alone, that he has to make. It again emphasizes that sometimes the best and most life changing things come from the hardest decisions that take the longest consideration.
Thank you very much for taking the time for critiquing my piece and sharing what you thought of it I always love hearing what people have to say about my pieces.

Ooh, more corridors. I love how well you do the perspective for these, and as always the shading.
