Description
So lately I've been asking people for random things (ideas) to do in order to practice either my drawing, painting or 3d sculpting skills. That's why a few days ago I asked my friends to name a pokemon and the chosen one ended up being Charmander.
Did it in Zbrush in a few hours of work. Nothing to fancy cause I didnt want this to consume all my time.

First of all this is a brilliant re-imagination of a classic character, well done your skills and application are outstanding.
I did notice a few bit and pieces which i thought could be improved upon.
The first and i think most obvious is the tail flame, i would like to see it much fuller, not necessarily bigger but more dense.
The eye sockets look like they are completely ditatched from the eyeball when i zoom in on the image, i think this could be improved by makeing the eye larger INSIDE the outer section (the lense) looks great.
The mouth is good but the lower lip needs a little work. just add in a bit of detail to that, also adding ridges around the teeth can make them look a little more realistic. (see here: [link] )
The seam which runs up and down it chest and finishes on the lip is a little too deep. and i think should end before it get to the lower jaw.
the hands look uneven, it looks asif you have added more detail to its left (our right) hand than the right (our left) i would also have liked to see claws like the ones on its feet on its hands. although that could just be a conception thing though.
On the note of the claws
if you yellow the claw closer to the flesh it also adds a note of realism. (see here: [link] [should say that is an old model and i was learning zbrush when i made it )
Other than those there is only one other thing i can see. on the chest there are a few areas which look a little low on polys (either side of the lighter area where it bumps out) and also a little on the legs.
I hope that helps.

I greatly appreciate this man!
Its awesome when people really take time to not only comment but to give constructive criticism.
I noticed we agree on many of the details you pointed out and you also made me notice some new ones.
Even tho I wont be remaking this because it was just a quick exercise. The noticed flaws are the things from where I will improve on my next work.
So thank you very much!!
