Texture is beautiful in this piece... so soft yet has edges.. very nice.
Can't explain the feeling I get from it... so fragile...

i like this alot because i have a strong immediate emotional reaction to it, most pieces of art do not have this effect on me

i really like it. the way the body is "melt" in the background is amazing. the way it's painted is so great too. very inspiring

Stunning! I don't have the words.
I like the use of the butcher paper. It gives it a very flesh-like texture to the image and a sense of "fragile". Fits very well with the subject matter.
Well done.

i love the abstract first impression i get from the torn paper, but then this child finds itself through the haze and texture.
lovely.

I'm not sure I could describe the picture but it is just how I feel this morning. Very moving to find it on my screen. It is that beyond words quality that so many great works have. Very powerful and fragile at the same time. The image seems pushing to get beyond - sort of breaking through what it is to something else. A picture that I'd like to look at a lot!!!Wow - that would be tough to sculpt out of wood or clay. I just can't see it in any other medium.

I love that rough tape stuff, the paper tape, when you paint over it to compliment a curve or somehting, it's excellent.
I like the head effect, but the rest seems a bit typical if not for the support paper

The quality is so overwhelming, nearly eternal. The feeling one get when looking at this beems you into a privat area of warmth and proximity. On the other hand, the colors speak of lost and melancholy. Exceptional work!

this reeks of humanity; i can really feel for the subject of this paiting. the dark tones convey a downcast setting, but somehow it seems that the person in the painting will suddenly stand up, give a heroic look against all his unfortunate circumstances, and press onward. truly an inspiring work of art.

I dunno if it makes itself clear enough. I mean, a piece shouldn't scream at you, but I feel this one is a little too difficult to read. I'd be interested to see where you go.
