His intentions are never known as he has never spoken of them—but many are drawn to his seemingly benevolent and accepting nature to all those around him. He is also spoken of as insightful and opportunistic—helping those with big ideas bring them to life. Should one desire a particular outcome or path of their life, he will assist you until it is achieved with nearly unwavering devotion.

Particularly, he surrounds himself with those who are at less of an advantage than others—the broken and damaged spirits of what could have been a better life. Their weakness is his strength; wanting nothing more than to fill in the spaces left empty and in need

The observant would notice something more—the thick murky film underneath a seeming perfected visage. Over a hundred years old, he's wandered the earth and sought out souls of those filled with bitterness, hate, disgust, betrayal, and any other negativity they could muster—and when sources were dry, he had no qualms to ruin a perfectly healthy spirit for his dark tastes.

With open and alluring arms, he brings in these bad souls—promising to commit crimes they could not do themselves ("I'll take care of the problem for you. So please, rest while I am gone. It will be fine in the morning."), validating the bad thoughts and habits they have, or teaching them bad habits with persuasion and the acceptance that he will never pass judgement upon them—that each soul is it's own to do as it wishes and should reach it's maximum in order to find peace and fufilment in life—no matter how good or bad that are.

His involvement with Sairami and Jupetta starts shortly after the former lost his humanity. When a little group had been formed for the aspiring artists, he joined as well—lured by the darkness in Sairami's heart and the fragility of Jupetta's. Combined, they posed as nothing but the perfect opportunity. By keeping them both at their worst, he attained his own need to corrupt spirits as he fed upon them. The others in the group were merely garnishes to the perfect dish he could have ever harvested for himself; and he would do nothing to change it.

Eventually, the two fell into the darkest of extremes—and the group only followed along with it as they saw Sairami as the "leader". It took nothing to nudge them in the direction of taking away Jupetta's humanity as well—and from there, he knew both would live forever and the curse of their ties would be everlasting. Unfortunately, he did not expect that the puppet would run away afterwards, and with him did he take half of the gains. Staying with Sairami for some time after was fine, but no longer did he find contentment off the bitter little ghost, and so he left as well with the slowly disbanding group.

He did, however, know of the Puppet's sister who also spent as much time with the group as she could. She was crushed when her brother disappeared, and again, another opportunity opened for a fresh harvest. He consoled her in her moments of weakness, and tempted her into darker shadows than she had ever been in. He fed her lies of how her brother left out of spite and distaste and in return he used her for whatever he wanted. She eventually began to hate him, but neither could she let him go. She needed him, and that was all he'd ever need of her. Unfortunately, his tally of ill deeds began to catch up with him, and he became a wanted criminal.
