this is basically my own take LockDown minus the animated or movie styles.transformation is not too different from the animated toy just flip everything back to front so now the arms form the front of the car rather then the back.
the car is based on the Ford Falcen XB GT with an exposed engine and some square head lights. I think the history of the car really fits LockDown

Now THIS is a perfect G1 rendition of Lockdown. Such a badass character he was in TFA, really would be awesome if he makes it into a different continuity of Transformers. Anyways, great job, your artwork is AWESOME.

i know i am very ignorant when it comes to cars but this alt mode reminds me of vin diesels car in need for speed, its a cool car

It should remind you of the last of the V8 Interceptors from Mad Max. One could argue that THAT was an even cooler car.

IRONIC, Considering that that is the exact car i used for an old scrapped design i mage for him... before i ever saw this. the car is perfect for him i think because of Mad Max.... You know what? Mad Max Crossover Transformers would rock!! So would a Back To The Future crossovers... i think i have some new project to work on...

I love the fact Lockdown is one of the only transformers in creation who doesn't have a helmet
But on a positive not I like the overall concept.
Hey, maybe this can be a young childlike version of lugnut before he loses his helmet or something lol

well the movie toy is rocking a helmet so its a mix and match really. I did try and give off a vibe that while its a helmet its blended into the general design.

You've really been rocking the musclecars lately.
Anyway. It's neat but I didn't even notice the chin markings at first. Their closeness to the cheek wents made me think they where deep shadows on the side of the robo-goatee.

yeah I've been doing quite a few of late at first it was just trying to make up for the odd lack of them in the TF line up but their also quite easy to work out transformations for given their size

well as I pointed out to some one else the chin was more to do with the shows style to me. Also I really did not like it with out the other proportions so I left it off.

I like this version of Lockdown better, never really took to the Animated series. Optimus Prime looked liked Jay Leno with that chin they gave him and he was too much of a wuss in my opinion, didn't care much for the rest of the cast either.

I didn't do the check marks since they just look confusing but the stuff on the chin and brow area is all their
