Description Official bio artwork for the "Classics" Mini-Con Oil Slick, appearing in the Hasbro Transformers Collectors' Club Official Magazine.

I'd pushed for bios on the Classics Mini-Cons from basically day one. Pete Sinclair eventually came around.. .and took it further by insisting we do a text story based around them, set in the interim between Marvel's TF #80 and the Classics branch-timeline. Thus "The New World" was born, and you can read it free on the TF Collectors' Club site ( [link] ). You can also read the prologue in the Diamond comics (mass-release) edition of BotCon 2006's "Games of Deception" comic.

Accompanying the story, for three installments, the official magazine had bios of one member each from the six Classics Mini-Con teams. Lots of Mini!

It's a well we plan on going back to.

Any rate. I claimed art duties on the Dirt Digger Team because they're my faves of the bunch. They's such evil goobers.

Buenos dias, this be Cappy: Patron Saint of letting special artists like you know they rock!

I gotta say, I really like what I see. I must admit I hated the Transformers with the gotta-catch-em-all minicon plotlines. But with your madd art skillz...I wouldn't actually mind reading a comic like this. Firstly, your technical skill, which is real important with something like Transformers, looks flawless. And your coloring reminds me of classic cel shading; you could tell me this was a screencap and I would believe it.

To be honest, your work is more polished and professional than some of the official Transformer art that Hasbro produces. So I'm glad to hear your work is being published so that your talent is getting recognition. You definitely have talent, and I see a bright future ahead of you in the world of art. So take care and keep on rockin' my fellow art buddy!
