Yeah, he's squatting, which I generally make fun of. But his character is BASICALLY Strong Mad, so it fits him, at least.

I love Mini-Cons.

I like Gigantion the Giant Planet... as a concept. Like so much in Japanese TF fiction, the execution could best be summed up as "whizzed it down their leg". How in the hell do you make a planet that's a gigantic factory world, under constant construction, populated by colossal robotic Scotsmen assisted by tiny power-enhancing robots... and make the time spent on that world as boring as all get-out?! Episode after episode of driving through abandoned identical cities! Deus-ex-machina away! Boring protracted LOOK GALVATRON IS NOW UNSTOPPABLE ANGER AURA HA-HA!

I am so grateful that Soundwave had an awesome dub voice and mannerism.
