Jean is by FAR my favorite character in Attack On Titan. <3 He's the best. :3 So I had to draw him at some point, and I decided to draw him as a chibi, on a VERY short livestream.

you're using a tablet, right? ^^
i got a monitor for my pc for christmas....and i found my tablet so.....time to....start figuring out how to use one...i've been relying on my ipad too much :/
and there's no pressure sensitivity on the ipad either (except from a really expensive/complex stylus)Ā Ā
so...now i got this whole desk/tablet/screen setup.........and it's really hard to get used to the tablet ^^'

And that's really cool that you got that! It takes some time getting used to tablets, but I'm sure you'll get it! Just practice!

well...it's a tiny bit easier since the last time i tried it 
you see...i'm planning on going more into digital painting/portraits and.....well.......it's slightly overwhelming...
it's just...i can't doodle chibis all the time either ^^'

gaaah....why is it so hard to choose a style and stick to it? T_T i switch between wanting to draw portraits-realism-digital-chibis-manga all the time xD

Ah it's definitely really hard to stick to a style! I had the same issue myself, until I just said 'Screw it'. I just accepted the fact that I like many different styles, anime/manga, chibis, realism, semi-realism cartoons etc. I experiment with all of them, so I just draw whatever ones I feel like at the time, but they still kinda have my own touch in there somewhere. XD I just say if you can't decide on a certain style, just do whatever you feel like.

Maybe i'm just....used to people who put down anything less than realism as....something childish and crappy? ^^'
ah...anyway.....i think i gotta do the same..."screw it!" ...im leaning more towards manga and many other comic styles.....and that's not a bad thing...(note it down...repeat 3 times a day
now i can finally finish this tiny chibi thing i've been doing....

the newer ones are in different...styles? ^^' but it's really different from a year ago

I agree, it is so awful that some people have such an elitist's attitude about styles! None of them are better than the other, and they are all art and beautiful in their own ways!
But yes, just stick to your guns, and do what YOU want to do with your art, because it is your own opinion that matters in the end, and the point is to enjoy it and have fun.
And those are so cute! I really love your chibi style, and especially your shading and coloring technique! And the lighting you use in the eyes is just... ahhh it gives them so much depth! :3
And as far as my lineart skills go I'm not sure how to really explain how I do it! XD I am VERY precise though, and I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my lineart. XD It's my favorite part of a drawing, and I think I take the longest on it. ^^
And awesome, I can't wait to see your Mikasa chibi! :3

for once...i finished the lineart in one go..*wooh! fist-pump-in-air *
and i just tried out different things 
but despite the missing eyebrows (oops) i've never had this "clean" look before 8D
well...you being a perfectionist really shows through your deviations
and i think talking about it made me spend a bit more time on lineart as well
