Cool! I don't do cosplay but this looks like something I might try for Halloween or just for fun. Thanks for sharing!

Utterly fantastic tutorial! Not only is it informative, but you've lain it out so it flows nicely and is easy to read.
I've been thinking about experimenting (ish) with worbla to make a 45-part cosplay weapon but haven't bought any yet. I'll be better for it when I do having read this.

I'm really happy that it was helpful and understandable, that's great. What cosplay are you working on?

Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII. The weapon's priority, mostly -- I was going to make the costume to go along with it, but so far I've had little time or money to really get it progressing.

Yeah, I understand. Cosplay is an expensive hobby But there is always a way to make a costume on a budget! I hope you make Lightning's sword and it comes out awesome!

I got it from CosplaySupplies.com at the following link: www.cosplaysupplies.com/store.β¦ . A lot of people buy it from the cosplayer Yaya Han because it's a bit cheaper, but Cosplaysupplies.com offers free shipping which made it less expensive for me. Hope this helps!

Your very welcome! I had never used it before I tackled my Dante's Inferno cosplay, and I think it's an amazing material for making armor. It's expensive, but if you're going to put money into a cosplay I would definitely recommend trying it!
