Caelan Irondrake is a teenage armored blue and gold Dragon with purple and blue medium-sized wings, blue large, curved horns pointing downward, a fin-like end on the tip of his tail, and gold spikes resembling a Mohawk, much like Spyro. He is noticeably bigger than Spyro. Caelan is a strong-willed dragon who is young at heart and mind, but does not possess a headstrong and arrogant attitude like his younger brother. He is emotionally-delicate, but also a true hero dedicated to defending Skylands from the forces of evil. Unlike his purple brother, Caelan came from a rare line of magical blue dragons that have the ability to harness the power of the Water element. Caelan has the ability to control all of the elements of the world of Skylands, but he prefers to master his original favorite - the Tech element. Caelan's armor is made from very durable and indestructible Arkeyan metal, protecting Caelan from physical harm. Caelan flies frequently, as he overcame his fear of heights. Caelan is loyal to his family and his friends, making him a true knight. Caelan was a well-respected knight in Cloudbreak Islands. When Kaos attacked, Caelan had allegedly vanished, but he was found by an army of trolls. When Caelan saw the trolls, he knew instantly they worked for Kaos and decimated them with a single strike. Master Eon noticed the loyal and noble armored dragon and inducted him into the Skylanders, where Caelan felt at home with his brother, Spyro.
