Caelan Graham, as a ghost, transferred his non-corporeal form into a Model 005 Cylon Centurion warrior mechanoid. Caelan encountered an unused Cylon warrior drone and uses it as his robot body. Caelan's Cylon body is the predecessor to his future Vision-esque body. Caelan, being a Colonial-designed Centurion "Simulant", utilizes the logic of artificial intelligence , transforming his soul into data and is designed as a sentient being, as he was in life. Caelan, in life, recalls the Cylons' boarding of his ship, the Blue Giant, and the apparent hatred the Centurions have for humanity, despite the physical inability of the Cylons to show emotion on their faceplates. Although Caelan was human, he respects his alien overlords and the Cylons have learned to tolerate him. The reflection of Caelan's soul is apparent in his quarters, depicting a Cylon War-era Centurion battling Caelan, utilizing relatively primitive bladed weapons. The different between Caelan and the other Cylons is that the former human has the emblem of Nova-Terria on both of his shoulder-plates, implying the Nova-Terrian Empire is down, but not out.
