Heh, thank you so much ^^      finally done..! 

Phew, it's a long one though...Even if I worked hard putting this together, I'm
still not that sure if the "real-haters" are gonna go through the trouble 
of reading it all x_x  But I hope they would since I seriously would like to have 
some sort of nice, proper conversation of this. 
Maybe I'll find a way to make it shorter too, more pleasant for the eyes 
but I just had soooo many points to give xDD 

Yeah, some people've been (for one reason or another) blind to 
those similarities and forgetting, that Gin seriously IS the one 
who is like that.
Truthfully, I'm guessing that MAYBE one of the reason for this 
hate might be this; Gin came first. That's all. It's a childish 
reason, yes, but for some reason "Gin is better because he had 
his series first, we don't need crappy sequels, we don't need 
Weed" or something.

Pfft... I don't know. Or maybe it's just the fact that GNG is "old" and therefore it's automatically better.

I've seen a handful of haters who instantly started giving Weed negative words JUST because he's Gin son and has his own series, and therefore took away Gin's glory or something. I've once seen a rabid GNG fangirl on YouTube who looked at the opening song of GDW and didn't even KNOW that it was sequel to GNG, and she said something like "WTF is this?! Some kind of Ginga Nagareboshi Gin wannabe?!" because she thought that GDW was some kind of random knock-off of GNG.


I think the worst kinds of Ginga haters are the ones who obviously haven't even seen the series yet. They think they're sooooo funny and original for judging and making jokes about a series they didn't even WATCH.

Yeah, hey I know how that feels! One of my closest friend is actually
a Ginga-series hater. I mean, I don't mind that since not every 
series is for everyone, BUT the critic she has for Weed is 
something I always get mad about. 
It's perfectly fine to criticise characters, I can do that even to my
favourite ones, but you need to have a good base for it.

And since she hasn't really seen the anime and 
definitely not read manga, she's judging a character she doesn't 
truly even know about! That's just wrong and annoying. 
First get to know a character, THEN make an opinion.

Yeah, as I said, those kinds of naive haters are the worst. Now the main reason I don't look at the comments section on any Ginga-related videos these days is so that I don't have to see any more stupid comments saying stuff like "OMG, they named that puppy after marijuana? Awesome!", "Why is an anime with 'weed' in the title about dogs? I wanted to see an anime about drug abuse, not furries!", "LOL, those dogs have boobs! They look so ugly!!", "Why the hell are animals fighting in wars? That bear would kill that dog in one swipe."

Seriously, have an actual OPINION on something before you make a point about it! One of my friends doesn't hate the series, but she refuses to watch it just because she doesn't like the art style. Seriously? Whatever happened to "don't judge a book by its cover?" I know that both series had notoriously bad animation but the VISUALS aren't more important than the story or characters.
