Happy New Year everybody (and everyone that transcended their fleshy tombs )! Starting into the year with the same stuff I left it at, that is refurbishing old sketches . Here, we have an unsuspecting mage coming back from his daily errands to see his apprentice having successfully summoned a pool of blood. Those stains will probably last a while... but hey, maybe there are some cleaning spells?
Inspiration came from a color-inverted photo of Pamukkale some fellow (*cough xmfcx cough*) sent me back in October 2015 that I recently stumbled upon while looking for unfinished sketches on my computer. Guess this is now done as well lol

It was supposed to be lava, not blood! In my dreams it was in a high ceiling dark cavern where the only light came from the pools or just some pitch dark skies, definitely no trees.
But gazing at the dripping & pooling blood parts really trigger some long forgotten nightmares. Good Job. ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=7mBqm8… )
Out of topic this makes me wonder whether if some planets have molten blood instead of some metal alloys in their liquid cores. Technically hemoglobin have Iron atoms inside, why not.

Do you think they accept iron currency instead of gold and silver to install a scrying pool with extradimentional reception? Because that is a show I don't wanna miss.
