Description An updated version of an old series I did for a friend. This is "Anger", the second stage of death, grief, loss, or acceptance, depending on which definition you use. Done really fast before I go to sleep.

Pretty much the easiest of the stages to portray. I'm sure we can all relate to this guy every now and then.

The state of anger makes you get frustrated and you'll probably feel as if heat is coming out of your body and your face turns red. The facial expression is just...genius. But what catches my eye is the teeth in the being's mouth. It shows that it's not just a silly game but something more serious. When you gap your mouth wide enough, you can see your teeth and probably your neck muscles. The pose is really great.

no prob... you know; one thought that came to mind is surrealist art, my explanation for it is that some feelings, whether it be emotional or physical, can't be expressed with words, so the artist uses a picture instead, it can look like an everyday picture, to Picasso's "Old Guitarist", to Pollock's "#6"; witch is why it has always been one of my favorite forms of art

One of my favs too. Wasn't sure if this classified as surrealism, maybe expressionism, so i put it in horror and macabre instead. Not too sure if it classifies as that, either =B . I just wanted to express the emotion as well as i can.

you know, my art teacher was quite good at determining styles, and now that you say it, this would classify as expressionism, because my teacher said, "expressionism involves the distortion of real colors and real shapes to fit the emotion; rather than surrealism which distorts what is possible, or impossible (like a floating castle, or melting clocks)

good catch!
