Have you not seen all the useless shit that becomes a DD....guess not. I wants to try to not see le dd's everyday, but some are actually quite nice, and not voicing my opinions makes me crazy.

yeh i do kinda agree, i get very frsutraded at dd's too, but meh, i don't think anything will ever get done

I generally get bored with seeing a simular theme in the dd's (doesnt apply to this one), this happens because the same people are choosing them day in day out, i think it would be beneficial if the same person cannot feature two days consecutavly.
Another thing i think could change is the way dd's are givin out, maybe going through two GM's rather than one, so they know it doesnt speak to only one person or w/e. This would also help there be less simular dd's. 2 heads are always better than one!

i think the "once every two days" bit wouldnt change a thing, and the "two GM's" thing would be difficult to achieve, technically-wise. The DD featuring process for admins is set up for one person... each admin has his admin panel and i don't think we could join them.
it never speaks to just one person. my taste might not speak to you, but i know it does speak to other people, as i've received a lot of encouraging messages, saying they were happy i could represent their taste... that might sound pretentious but i'm really glad i can represent those people.

well also a bunch of dig' art is uploaded there.
Eitherway, she doesn't like the DD and wants an other place to upload her stuff, well then go there and don't post negative comments on people's work. Unless it's actualy critisism, which it wasn't.
That's the way I look at it anyway.

I'm glad to see different ideas getting DDs as this one. Many of the concepts that gets featured sure deserves it, but I also want to see more different approaches to inspire me in new ways!

I agree with the DD. I like the innovation and the use of "unexpected" situations, like the main figure giving his back to the camera or the rather forced use of the lighting. I only object a couple of ideas expressed by the suggester of the DD.
1. This is absolutely not a surreal scene, just unusual to traditional photography.
2. The word composition is not correctly used here...perhaps the idea or the concept is intriguing...composition refers to the arrangement of visual elements not to the figures used in the image.
Thanks to the artist for this art, and to ^Gonzale for supporting this kind of photography that other GMs don't...
