One thing about science that most people seem to forget...
you have to do the experiments again and again and again to ensure ...ahem..."reproducibility".

Yep! A good saying in science is this:
"If at first you don't succeed, try 2 more times so that your failure becomes statistically significant"
Then keep trying, again and again and again!

And proper documentation is a must. So I guess you're going to need an intern or two. Maybe a grad student. Could get awful confusing during testing.
