*The group tries catching up to the Hobo but lost him in the snow. They suddenly hear the train's whistle and a voice calling*

Hobo: Kids get your heads out of the clouds! Wake up! There's no sleep walking on the Polar Express!

*Hobo comes back with a pair of skis, and two sleds*

Hobo: Quick! Three of you in a sled. Kid in the bathrobe, get on my skis! We gotta hightail to the engine pronto!

Liz: Why?

Hobo: We gotta reach the engine before we hit "Flat Top Tunnel"!

Hero Boy: How come?

Hobo: There is but one inch of clearance between the roof of this rattler and the roof of "Flat Top Tunnel".

*Group sees the train beginning to climb a steep hill. They all quickly position themselves in the sleds and skis. When the train reaches over the top and begins the climb down, the group begin sliding their way down each coach to reach the engine. Some ponies in the sleds used their horns to lift themselves off the end of a coach and onto another one.*

Jarrod ( ): I see Flat Top Tunnel!

Kira ( ): We gotta hurry!

*Group picks up speed as the train gets closer and closer to tunnel. They finally reach the first two coaches of the train*

Hobo: There's only one trick to this kids! When I say jump, you all jump into the tender!

*The ponies in the sleds position themselves, ready to jump. They are now at the front coach and the train is directly in front of Flat Top Tunnel*

Hobo: JUMP!!!

*Vanishes away from sight like smoke. Everyone leaps from the sleds/skis and dive into the tender full of coal, just when the engine flies inside Flat Top Tunnel*
