Really interesting interpretation of the Card! I like the little eyes in the wings! Two thumbs up!

I love the vibrancy of the colors and how subtley they blend without bleeding into one another, especially in the ocean, where the teals mix beautifully with the green and yellow hues.
It definitely holds to an older style, with more modern qualities.

This is wonderful.
I specially liked the eyes on the wings. It's a heavily loaded semantical image. These are some of the things I see:
a) Perception happens far, far from the subject (in the sky, since wings barely touch the ground)
b) Several eyes on each wing, and several wings, say that perception (not Knowledge) is a matter of perspective and that, ultimately, 'knowledge' comes from the concurrency and resolution of several kinds of perceptions (symbolized by the eyes) within the Observer.
c) It is the Devil who possesses this ability of seeing many, many things at once and from a distance: he is able to 'think' them clearly, and to assess the ways in which he can intervene (the buttons he can push) (assuming, of course, he exists and has the desire to intervene).
d) It is the Devil who is able to see and complement much more information than us, but still has a limited perspective (finite amount of eyes) and thus has a limited set of potential behaviors.
These are only some of the ideas that came to my mind in seeing this image. Automatic +fav

You've done a very good job. I'm not any kind of expert, but I really think you've got the force, violence and effort of the card's (possible) interpretation down. I also like the conflict: the water is a powerful, engulfing force, and it's running every way it can, desctructive and awe inspiring turmoil, and the sky is full of action...I'm not sure those are clouds so much as wind, but the thought they convey is of the sort of wind there you shut your eyes and fight to stay on your feet, and are sure that whatever force is causing it really means business, and means it to go against you. I also like the figure himself, the sets of wings are a reminder of his former glory, and the beast-body is compelling and savage, and somewhat noble. His expression and upturned face read of a sort of hatred/contempt (I think) for what is above him.
I also like the style: the lines and colors are too clean to be mimicking a print, but they're very fine and expressive of the typical card. I love the way they run too: sometimes they're kind of direct and smooth, and other times they're a little chaotic: makes it look like there's an artist behind it, and individuality, and that's nice.
And all that adds up to. I like your picture. kthnxbye.
No really, I do. Well done

So cool. I love the movement and curves. This style of drawing/inking is so intreaging (sorry, I really can't spell). The waves and clouds are my favorite parts. Beautiful work!

Lovely, it has this ancient look without being too much.
I like the details of the lines used for the background and the wave, for it does not disturb the eye at all.
Inks are a great medium to work with.
Here it gives a great power to the colors.
Bravo

Neat, i like the symbolism, and i never have quite seen a death card like that so its quite original (most people go with the skeleton )
btw, nice job on the water and clouds, its tricky to draw moving elements

... maybe because it is not the Death card which is the 13th but the Devil's
