Description Zangoose is a violent creature and also a very loud and vocal one.
They have been known to attack just about anything that moves, and will fight until the very end.
though they look very cat-like, they are actually more closely related to large mustelid Pokemon such as
Furret, Buizel, Typhlosion and Weavile. These Pokemon will usually hunt for their prey in pairs, normally one male and one female.
In some cases they are brother and sister, in other cases they are mates. Speaking of mates, Zangoose are very bold Pokemon in the sense of mating, and by that we mean that there is no such thing as 'privacy' for them. Should they be in the mood, they will mate right where they are and not care at all about who is watching. Not their trainers, not their trainer's parents, and certainly not little Suzie from across the lane....
(Poor little Suzie from across the lane, she was traumatized for life after what she saw)

Aside from that information, these Pokemon seem to have an instinctual hatred for the Fang Snake Pokemon, Seviper, and the feeling is often mutual for the Seviper itself. They will attack each and every one that they see in a hardened mission to dispose of it for good, not stopping their assault until they have successfully beheaded it with their sharp claws, or in the case of the snake, behead the Zangoose with it's sharp knife-like tail. Many Zangoose will have the ability 'Immunity' which, of course, makes them completely immune to Seviper's poison and even the poison from other venomous Pokemon.

This may seem as if it puts the Fang Snake in a disadvantage, but Seviper have been known to have a few tricks up their sleeves.
For those not wanting to fight, they may have the ability 'Shed Skin', should they be attacked, this ability will activate, allowing the snake to shed it's skin and leave behind a decoy for the rage-blinded Zangoose to beat up while the real Seviper slithers to safety.

And recently, more and more of them seem to know the move, Flamethrower, being able to defend themselves against their Zangoose attackers by burning them to death. It's thought that the hatred among the two species is caused by the fact that both do tend to live near one another, stealing each other's food sources and both will also prey on each others' young.

Quick facts about Zangoose

-Zangoose are Monotremes, meaning they are mammals that reproduce through egg-laying,
which is ironic as their sworn natural enemies, Seviper, are reptiles that reproduce through live births.

- 'Blood-red' is not the only color that they come in.
there are also these variants;

Shiny                                'Green-Green'                      'Sinnoh White' / 'Sinnoh Snow'

- Despite the common belief, Green-Green Zangoose are not exactly a 'tropical variant',
They are just regular Zangoose who happen to have this color due to simple genetic mutations.
this was taken advantage of and now they are bred to be colored this way for aesthetic purposes,
otherwise, they are just like any other ordinary Zangoose.

-The 'Sinnoh White' Zangoose is called that for a reason.
Mainly because they can ONLY be found in the mountains of the Sinnoh region.
Their pelts are white like this for camouflage in order to further hide themselves from their prey
against the snow covered landscape.

- When traveling, adult Sinnoh-White Zangoose will allow their hatchlings to ride on their tails.
the hatchlings will be protected against the harsh cold of the mountains by the Zangoose's tail fluff,
keeping the offspring warm.

So these guys are the ultimate exhibitionists of your Pokemon world ?  Well different strokes for different poke's in this case.

Will you do the snake as well ??

blueharuka In reply to TyrantReptile [2016-07-19 23:32:21 +0000 UTC]

Though they're the most likely of all to do it, they aren't the only exhibitionists 'Mons.

There's also members of the Infernape line, Raticate, Marowak, Typhlosion (A certain Halfbred one has gotten a few timeouts from his mom due to excessive public humping), Linoone and Vigoroth.

These are all only a few species that tend to be a bit on the aggressive side, and for many of them
it can easily become sexual aggression, which they will relieve any way that they can, even if it means someone else happens to be there at the wrong time.

Or hey, maybe even the 'right time' if you're into that kinda thing?

Oh yes, I do plan on doing Seviper one day, hopefully sooner than later.

Zangoose got CLAWS 4 DAYZ!!

Also will you be able to explain hidden abilities or do those not exist in your universe?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

blueharuka In reply to albino-penguin [2016-07-19 23:21:07 +0000 UTC]

Hidden abilities exist in this universe too, and hopefully one day I'll get to explaining them.
though, it's not too different in this world from how it works in the official world.

Zangoose are capable of extending their claws by a few inches when getting ready to attack thanks to the stretchy ligaments in their paws,
which is why they appear a bit long here, but even when contracted, those claws can still do some major damage!

They are super fast, before a person could blink they probably would have already
used those claws to slice off an arm.
