Well I gotta say Blue, while she ain't exactly more bulked, I kinda like this, its almost like she's somewhere between Skinny Jasper and Amethyst as Purple Puma, you've done a great thing dude in further fleshing her out as you have, making the reds more pinky red, is a nice touch actually, because sure straight up reds work so fine, but this bodyshape, with those colors? Miraculous.
Ya really put my beautiful big girl into such a fine and amazing perspective dude, thank you ever so very much! Everything about this is so right, there is no room to lie, you really outdid yourself and just, managed to pull JAM together in an utterly spectacular way that isn't explosive, just loud~!

What sort of Gem is she supposed to be? I'm gonna guess Clinohumite, am I right?

Heh heh heh, the best kind~ A natural made Off-Color. You know how some gems are physically attached to other gems in the deposits they are found in? This is like that, in the case that its not Fusion, its just that two "raw gem materials" became one instead of individuals. What you see here is JAM {the only and one}, a Jasper/Amethyst Type. Jasper with Amethyst as it were; she's got the best, positive traits of a Quartz type [Loyalty, Size, Warm Disposition) and all that fine stuff, but without any of the negative traits seen in Pink, Amethyst or Jasper, she doesn't even have any real combat instincts, just outright sweetness and such.
I mean, the reason she is named JAM is because of the fella that found and named her, because she's all sweet and, looks like all kinds of Jam {Jelly{ you know? Thanks for telling me about Clinohumite~

Ah I see, kinda makes me think of a less-terrifying Cluster Gem if you ask me. Very unique Gemsona though.

Well, The Cluster was shattered gems forcibly fused together, JAM's just an injector landing on a huge deposit of two mixed quartz, then glitching. Oh she is; my third as it were. Represents, I suppose the, optimism, the peacefulness and just, overwhelming warmth really, heh unlike the moody sparkster or the awkward, animalistic and slightly anxious boney one.

I wonder what would happen if another Gem fused with her? Probably could have some crazy results.

Oh the results could be anyone's guess. If she fuses with Dark Lightning Opal and Bone, they form a truly harmonious fusion called Seraphinite, more stable than Alexandrite. I suppose if could become an AzurMalachite if a Lapis Type was present, a more stabilized one at least.
At the end of the day she is a Gem, an Off-Color sure, different but just a straight up Quartz really. I must admit, I am curious to see what other fused results she could create. These are some examples
and there is some weight to em I think. Heh you got any new gems on the scene~? Currently working on an Emerald, a Red Pearl and an Orange Ruby, oh and a multi-colored Amber {turns out they come in Orange, Red, White, Black, Green, Blue, Brown, Yellow and what have you~).

Haven't really designed any new ones but I had one in mind who'd be a villain named Schorl. A Shadow-Type Gem on the same level of authority as Aquamarine, but in truth wants to overthrow the Diamond Authority and secretly works behind their backs. I was also trying to think of other Gems who would work for her too?

Oh? Schorl...isn't that connected to the sea or Pearls? Huh, so on that level as it were? Oh hoho, if you want help in finding gems like that, I could certainly offer up some assistance on that front~ Still, she also wants to overthrow those emotional tyrants? My oh my.
Lets see...any color preferences?

Yes, Schorl I was thinking would be one of those "Starscream" villains in a sense. I was also thinking of integrating some sort of plot involving her either trying to uncover another Gem Artifact (like those various ones they had in the Burning Room), or amassing enough of an army to have her get the upper hand. Though now that I think of it, with White Diamond's mind control powers it would have to be a very tough artifact of sorts.
This is information on the Gemstone "Schorl." --> www.mindat.org/min-3578.html
Some ideas I had so far for Schorl's cohorts so far. Kinda was thinking for something gray or black.
-Black Pearl. Apparently the Diamonds aren't the only ones to have Pearls (the one Pearl who fuses with a Ruby to form Rhodonite apparently belonged to someone other than a Diamond), and can fit with her being about as High-Classed as Aquamarine.
-Flint Squadron. Perhaps a small team of Flint Soldiers could be on her side, perhaps specifically highly trained ones better than the usual expendable ones.
-Stibnites. This one I had in mind would be a bit unique. Basically the Stibnites would be very short black Gems with batlike wings and have an almost Imp-like look. They are even less intelligent than the Ruby Squad, to the point that they are practically animals, with the exception of one only slightly smarter Stibnite who is at least capable of speech. This one Stibnite, the other swarm of Stibnites all look towards as some sort of highly intelligent leader because of this, and she also would be Schorl's loyal but slow-witted subordinate whom Schorl uses as a means to govern the other even less-intelligent Stibnites. All the Stibnites can fly with their batlike wings, and are also known to fuse into bigger Stibnites too. Though I cannot think of much other unique abilities for them.

Ah I know the type you mean very well. Sorry for the delay~! The Burning Room? I think there is another name for that part of the temple, which oddly enough, does seem to mirror Obsidian in a sense, having such a...molten core by the look of it. Oh truly it would have to be but as we've seen, White Diamond can also let others control her, but what is scary is the fact that it seems I was correct, Pink was really one of the rarest Diamonds imaginable; a Pink Star Diamond, which in this case, proved to be stronger than the other 3 Diamonds, and even the likes of Alexandrite and Lapis of all beings.
Huh~ I see.
So gems like that eh? There are a few that may just fit that bill~ After all, it is certain oxidized metals that color gemstones~
Pearls are for the higher class, or they were till ERA 3 became a thing. I doubt that, Pearls have a high rank, but it seems Aquamarines are a curious inbetween, functioning somewhere between servants or possibly something else, considering the ones that opened up the veil for Blue Diamond was, different than that one little upstart with the power wand.
To any elites, Flints would be expendable, in any case. Heck it makes me wonder if what a natural Obsidian of Homeworld variety looks like, besides Snowflake Obsidian of course; but there are many other kinds of Obsidian, Mahogany, Blue, Rainbow, and many more I believe.
Ah so primitives that can execute orders like trackers and attack beasts. Well I reckon if they can fly, that already presents a problem in its own case, and if they get bigger, could be a problem, for them or any potential targets. Looking up these types of gems, I can see one idea of what they can do. Produce a natural "smoke screen" from their mouths, as it says that if ingested, its similar to arsenic poisoning, which is fatal for organics but for gems, again, practically a smoke screen to confuse and attack as it were in a gaseous form I reckon. Plus, I seem to think if they were unfused, that might do better for them to overwhelm.

Sadly haven't been working on as much Steven Universe stuff lately, as much as other things, but I still want to continue that stuff. And yes this is exactly why Schorl would be doing these things behind their backs, knowing without said artifacts and support she would have less of a chance against the Diamonds. As I said before, kinda like villains like Starscream.
I forgot to mention, as to go with Schorl's whole Shadow-type theme, her main weakness is Sunlight (and it has to be Sunlight or any other sort of similar UV Radiation, normal lights don't work, hence why a Gem's Solidified Light Body is not effective). When she's in direct full daytime sunlight, she's about as weak as a regular Pearl and most of her shadow-type abilities don't work. If it's about Dusk out, she could fight on the level of Gems like, say Jasper. When it's night out and no sunlight is on her, she's about as wickedly strong as Gems like Spinel or Lapis Lazuli, even being able to take on some Fusions by herself. It doesn't necessarily harm her but makes her abilities weaker or in some cases disables them.
Because of this, Schorl usually prefers to work by night or in places like underground, where the sun cannot weaken her as much. Also other Schorls were used in a manner similar to Aquamarines and Lapises, but mostly dispatched to worlds where very little sunlight reaches them and therefore their weakness is less effective.
I was thinking more about her lackeys idea. Do recall the Pearl who fused to form Rhodonite was owned by someone other than a Diamond, which is why I thought this would still be the case. How some who aren't Diamonds also had a Pearl.
Also in the case of the Stibnites, I was probably gonna sketch them more, but I was thinking they'd be sort of like Mine Canaries used to search through caves and such, and perhaps have abilities like Night Vision to go with that. I do like the poison smoke ability though. It was to go with more of the whole Darkness theme of Schorl and have these smaller Batlike Imp/Demon-ish assistants for her, but I thought of this to go with how other Gems would use them.
I hate to use a Pokemon comparison since I really dislike Pokemon, but I was thinking they'd look sorta similar to the Pokemon Sableye, except with slightly more humanoid faces and with Batlike wings. Similar small dark implike cavern dwellers. They'd probably have large eyes too as to go with their superb vision in dark areas like in caves.
