Interacting with video game characters and worlds Wreck It Ralph style is something I've had the Zoners do off and on in the Appmon comics, but the official canon did actually support the idea itself in a later episode to my surprise. Naturally I've only become encouraged to fiddle some more with the Zoners hopping around other gaming apps, as well as potentially have semi-reoccuring game characters help or hinder the heroes.

Tubby Turbo is one such character who falls into either category, though she's mostly a good girl at her core.
While drawn as part of a menagerie of controlled video game characters in an earlier comic, blueike.deviantart.com/art/DZA… , I wound up liking the character and even came up with a silly backstory.

An early 90's platform game with racing elements, Tubby Turbo's origins were that of a plucky, if highly gluttonous, girl who one day ate too much and became too fat to move. Her scientist father, specializing in robotics technology, developed a special car like suit, so she could move around once more. Her father's rival, Dr. Piston one day kidnapped her father and his robotics research, prompting Tubby Turbo to roll out and rescue him, starting the game.

She's powered up by different soda brands and gets health from various snack foods scattered through out the level, though vegetables gum up her works. Her main video game enemies are mostly mechanically inclined creatures, with the odd variation such as vegetable mutants.

Outside of her App, she's friends with other Game Type Appmon such as Racemon, and is usually found joyriding around the Net Ocean looking for exotic food. Despite her hedonistic tendencies, Turbo is at her core a kind person who fights for what's right (and for the last cookie in the jar with her siblings). While she was controlled by Game Boss to fight against the Zoners at one point, she's on good terms with them after being freed and likes to help out when possible.

Meanwhile, Fidgetmon and Fruitmon are hired assassins that work for Leviathan under Game Boss. Both are highly skilled in their games of origins and have secured the most points (though most of these points have been shaved off by Game Boss' ego), but both aren't without their quirks. While Fidgetmon is generally the more professional between the two, he sometimes gets mesmerized by his own spinners when left idle. Fruitmon, while a master ninja in his own right, is easily distracted by "fruit shaped" women, often running off to flirt with Peri, Alice and Tubby Turbo to their annoyance. Sometimes the girls use this to their advantage to distract Fruitmon long enough to let Burromon and the others attack him.

Technically Fidgetmon and Fruitmon aren't infected with the L-Virus or even outright evil, both took the job for money, as their Apps' freemium constantly drains their funds.
