As for the ZOIDS corner of my extended Hasbro team up concepts, a group of Decepticons have secretly landed on Planet Zi in the Zoidstar System, disguising themselves as the local ZOIDS lifeforms for a special initiative: the recreation of Trypticon. However resources on the matter were at a critical low, so Shockwave sought to experiment on ZOIDS, figuring their technology could be compatible enough. Sure enough, after some genetic probing, they were eerily compatible, almost as if the ZOIDS were Transformers themselves.

Sure enough, Bumblebee's team and their new found buddy Grommet made a similar discovery in ancient Zoidarian ruins... finding a relief of Onyx Prime deep within the structure.

It seems that during Zi's prehistory, Onyx Prime visited the planet aboard his Titan Chela. In an effort to create a home world for Beast Type Transformers, Onyx seeded Zi with robotic life, the first Wild ZOIDS, to take the planet as their own. This was not to be, as an organic race, the early Zoidarians, managed to tame the Wild ZOIDS and build a civilization alongside them.

While not what Onyx had in mind, the "Genesis ZOID" as the locals dubbed him seemed content and took off aboard Chela. The ancient Zoidarians believed he would later return and judge Planet Zi...!

Grommet and his sister Chassis feared the Decepticons might be the judgement their ancestors spoke of, but Bumblebee and his crew weren't as convinced...
