I'm hoping they make a Doctor Who ride at Disneyland.

Fantastic! (Faves and recommends) Definitely like the idea of Mickey dressed as Ten - with Ten and the TARDIS next to him and at, if my eyes do not deceive me, one of the parks (my guess in Anaheim because, if I'm not mistaken, they and the TARDIS are outside Sleeping Beauty's Castle.) What makes this even more fitting now is that Mickey used "Allons-y!" in a recent short in French, Croissant de Triomphe ([link] ).
I actually also just featured this in a journal I wrote - Disney and Doctor Who ([link] ) about crossover art like this and about Disney's attempted acquisition of Doctor Who from the BBC.

That could be a problem for the Disney heroes. I mean, the Doctor saves the universe on a daily basis; what have any of the princes done compared to that? The princesses are already swooning over the news that Disney is getting a Doctor Who movie, and Tinkerbell is setting up a trap for when he arrives.

Nice sonic paintbrush. I wonder what kind of amazing, mystical powers such a thing might have?

I've only gotten into the series during the reign of the tenth Doctor. But I do love it. This is very good. I was wondering if you would be willing to draw an original character of mine.

I might be willing to try, but I can't promise it will be good. I have a hard time doing commisions or requests, unless they inspire me.

A standard Dozen, or a baker's dozen? I guess it really doesn't matter, I'm just glad it provided some happiness to the world at large, and you in particular. Thanks for the comment.

What a weird crossover. Of course, I've never seen any Doctor Who, so maybe it's not as weird as it strikes me.

The Doctor belongs to a race of people that are known as Time Lords. Instead of dying they regenerate into a new incarnation. They use vehicles called TARDIS's which stand for Time and relative dimension in space. At the heart of each ship is a core that contains part of the living universe. Basically the Doctor is a renegade that travels through space, time and dimensions saving people and acting very eccentric. It was a guilty pleasure of mine as a kid, but the new incarnation of the series is really good. The writing is clever and the stories are engaging. Douglas Adams used to write for Dr. Who back in the day, so you can imagine it's tone is fairly absurdist at times, but I think it's top notch sci-fi when it's done right.
So I am assuming the TARDIS could, in theory, finds it's way to Mickey's dimension.

Some of that I already knew. The reincarnation thing in particular had me thinking "What a seamless excuse to switch actors every so often."

A lot of the time...yup! He favors very bold blue suits, sometimes pinstripe...odd cuts, with a western style trench coat, converse sneakers and loud ties. Course it's better than say the 5th doctor, with his Celery.
