Not as much of an awesome piece of art as just a picture of a rose that mysteriously survived in the backyard of the apartment I recently moved into... with everything around it destroyed by the cold weather, it stands tall and fights its unavoidable fate... and quite nicely, as the image hasn't been post-processed except for the usual Camera Raw treatment.Related content

I admit I took a few pictures to get it right... working with the 50mm 1.4 is both fun and challenging, but the motive of this one was particularily patient
