I'm glad you're enjoying Buk. He can be hard to take sometimes, but there's an honesty to his voice that I really like. Today's my last day. The kids went back today, and I go tomorrow. It was really fun while it lasted though. Sigh.

Yeah, Disneyland is so big now, it takes a few days to see most of it. So we got the annual pass so we don't have to rush. We left sort of early because it got cold and our shoes were still wet from from the log ride. Today we go to the local casino. My mom is a big card and poker player but she's so bad at it because she chases everything (including any cute guys). haha.

Sounds like mom knows how to have some fun, and that's important. I've never been to California. Disneyland's more south, isn't it? Is it Anaheim? I'm afraid I don't know much about California geography. I've done some traveling, mostly around the south and a trip to Europe in college oh, so long ago... How did you meet your wife? Were you traveling or was she? Latvia's a long way from here.
I teach English at a community college, so it'd be freshman English, I guess.

Yeah, my mom can still out dance anyone on the dance floor. Los Angeles is considered Southern California and Disneyland is about a 1 hour drive south. We actually met online and chatted as friends for awhile and then I went to visit for three months.
