Description
Even when she is engrossed in pony dress designing process, Rarity doesn't mind it when her sister visits her room. It can be very uplifting for her to take a little break with such a playful soul around, eager to be wrapped up in the older Unicorn.__________________________________________________________
The drawing is based on one of the sketches (Sketch #2 - Sisters ) by the talented artist SkyBoundDeos - I really recommend you to visit his page and look at his amazing works.

The idea how to complete this scene came from the cloudy memories from my childhood. My siblings and I would sometimes have fun disturbing our parents at their work - especially our mother, who worked at home and looked after us the whole time. The cloudy part concerns her sewing work, I remember that we used sewing tools like buttons and ribbons as toys. If I'm correct, when she had to use a very big piece of fabric, she had to lay it down on the floor to draw cutting lines.
From all the ideas that came to my mind, I have decided that such setting would be the best choice for coloring Fashionista Rarity.

A magical drawing, incomparable to anything else. I highly value it, just like your effort in creating it.
Rarity means a lot to me, you and Sky drew her in a way that is more compelling and convincing than others would conceive. The whole concept here, to enrapture the viewer with lavish colour, charming event and shapes, is at works in full swing. Talking ponies, colourfulness, yet it doesn't repel with elements that might seem childish, and fills me with a very possitive feeling. I can decidedly say that "A Pleasant Interruption" is a treasure.

Do you have any experience with cats? You know how they like to walk between you and your monitor, stepping on your keyboard, especially when you're very focused on what you're doing on your computer.

Well, ponies are just smaller horses. When I got into the fandom, I looked up to see what the difference between the two and found out it's pretty just a size difference. Apart from that there is no real distinction between the two.

Blue means that Rarity is an evolved talking creature and she would be slightly indignant (which is funny to imagine) if you compared her to animal species. I agree that she is beautifully drawn.

I understand that, but a fictional character's feelings really don't come into it when describing the anatomy of the drawing. I was just defending my description.
Besides I don't think they would be offended. They might even be flattered by it. Remember the CMC sang a song about having hearts as strong as them.

Come on guys, I said this half in jest.
I just wondered what if horses are like monkeys in our world? I'm not sure if residents of Saddle Arabia are also considered ponies or horses. We also may compare someone strength to horse but on the other hand you may offend someone by saying that he/she has a horse face.
If horses in their world are also evolved intelligent creatures then ponies would be like human dwarves. Or horses would be a pony giants

Looking at dates of the files I started working on it from the the second half of the January. So it took two and half month - of course I didn't spent all my spare time on it, mainly weekends. The background took most of that time.
