The day finally had come, Riley and Alex had been training hard to enter two of the most sound horses into the Winter Hunter Show. Alex wanted to show with Ace, so Riley agreed to let him. The show was located in Nebraska, this was going to be the furthest they had ever traveled. The drive took them 25 hours, and that was without stopping. Riley figured it took them about 40 hours to make it down. They spent some time in South Dakota, looking around and riding the horses. Both of them wanted to give them a bit of a break before continuing on.

Once they arrived, Alex took Ace out and got him ready. He groomed him, fed him a bit, he also checked him over to make sure he wasn't sore or stiff from their journey. Once Ace got the okay, he lead him out. He was proud of this boy, he did not spook at the amounts of people, he showed no interest in other stallions. He did his part and stood like a statue when they finished their walk. Alex was always nervous when the judges would do a walk around, take notes and whisper to the others. However he Knew in his art this boy did good. Even if he was not a winner here, he was a winner for him.
