So I don't really have any drawings to upload right now so here's something I made with my cousin today. I think we're finally set on Halloween costumes for this year, yeah I know it's early but when we're making and planning all the stuff it's better to be early than late, seriously though we went through so many ideas! Team Skull grunts, Frisk and Chara, Pokémon Trainers, Marceline and Marshall Lee , etc.
So! I think we've settled on Dipper and Bill. Originally going to be Dipper and Mabel but, here's the thing. Me and my cousin look nothing alike.. I have short brown hair and he's blonde, he's also a bit paler than me, our face shapes are completely different. I didn't see that really working, also I'm not growing out my hair to pull off Mabel and sadly (not really) I had my braces taken off when I was like 15.
So yeah, we used a hardcover of Percy Jackson: Battle of the Labyrinth, gold foil paper, some pins with the spike parts cut off, hot glued the pins on and used elmers glue for the paper, oh and we used an exacto knife for the rips.
Looks like the hard part of my costume is over, got the book, I've had a hat for awhile and normal clothes really aren't hard to get. My cousin is going to have a harder time. He wants an eyepatch, top hat, get a fancy yellow coat, dress pants, and even a cane. He's more of a crafts person than me so he likes making and working on big projects, I'm gonna try to help out if I can, not sure how much help I can really be to be honest though.
