"This is my mama, Effie! She's a big, strong Guard. And next to her is my papa, Ryder! He's a High Guard, but he used to be a Scout. I'm not sure what exactly a High Guard does, but it has the word 'high' in it so it must be pretty cool! I really love being around them, and I hope I can be as big and strong as them one day."

Yay for more checkpoints! I realized that I hadn't drawn the whole family together yet, so I figured I ought to change that. XD I also got to do a bit more practice with my gouache paints. Oh goodness, they are so much fun! I had a really great time drawing these three, and I hope all of you enjoy the product. c:

Your traditional drawingstyle is very nice
But just a little tip! Maybe you should use a thinner brush for the gras. Sometimes the brushes are to thick and therefore the gras appears
thicker than it should be.

The flowers and the hills are very nice and you captured the horse anatomy very well.
