Even though it's night time, the beach is still uncomfortably warm for Eira, who calls the frosted fields her home.
Regardless of her discomfort, she too feels the ocean's pull, and combs the sands and shores for the object with the voice that calls the loudest to her.
From the waves, she rolls it up close to her, a shimmering, simple pearl.
It fascinates her - for in the silver light, it seems like a mirror for the moon, a tiny planet she can hold.
