Being underwater is foreign to her - swimming stranger still. Eira is an ungainly swimmer, her paddling movements awkward and jerky.

But she is undeterred from her task, to return the pearl to the seabed that calls it back.

As she settles it into the sand among the kelp, feeling rather proud to have accomplished her task, something else catches her attention.

This time the feeling tells her to remove something that does not quite belong.
