Tangerine, cherry-cola, circles and squares.I did a guy for once! Cos I never do guys!
I like the turqoise and blood red. Combined with bright orange and deep purple.
Played around with some typography. I like typography.

awesome work. (and therefore deserves a bit more attention than those two words).
Let's start with the obvious - the character is great. I love his expression and his clothes. all in all a worthy eye-catcher 
but your background can keep up with the guy so there is a good balance in this work. the contrast in color and in pattern (gradients vs. monochrome areas) between back- and foreground adds depth but is so cleverly done that the picture isn't torn apart.
and finally the typography is integrated very well, so of you call this playing around you must be a pro player
(ever tried how it looks when it doesn't touch the border?)

the way this is done.. looks like the circles and lines would start blinking or changing colors. i can so see this on one of the times square walls, amazing!

dunno if I like the lines going from his hand to his mouth...
...other then that I need a towel to clean up the mess I made after seeing that 
the background blows my mind, love the digital, dots, pixel, scratchy messy look. Love the colour choice and contrast. The character's lines are to die for, so precise and eye catching.

You are one of hte reasons why I LIKE vector art. I love it. I am currently NOT liking the history of typography, it sounds sooo vast and boring (to me), but I like seeing it.
