Thank you again!
And, especially for takin' the time to dig thru all my deviations & photos.
I really appreciate the time, the views, & especially the comments.
I hope some of it is worth the effort!

You have an interesting gallery. I'm not much interested in cars (I prefer cats ), but you do have some great photos of old cars

Truly amazing!!!!!! I love the textures and the gradient! I am a noob at Apo, but devoting a lot of time towards mastery of this magnificent application!

Ah, Thank YOU very much! The referenced script will allow you infinite choices and is very forgiving. I've moved to UF and Tacitus for the time being since i couldn't get Apophysis to work for me very well....

I have added that script to my collection (I located some Mega Monster Pack too along with others... Talk about some people simply not giving a shit enough to document which plugins are required, what the thing does... (-I know, programmers HATE writing documentation- I used to program professionally and always left it to the last minute (if at all) -now I do it for fun-). Being a total NOOB at Apo I have decided to attempt to grab as much material as I can and over the next few months sift through it and organize it as best I can with some actual documentation of what I understand things do when they are not such specified. I'm taking about scripts/plugins/builtins and probably create a number of my own in the process and do some high level integration of what exists... Then? Bundle it and post it with appropriate attributions and links to examples of my own and others. What's happening with your Apo? I've been trying every version out there over the last couple weeks and looking at 2.0.9 JK as my current choice. It doesn't like some of the 3-D stuff but WTF? Maybe others are engaged in a similar activity and would be willing to collaborate (divide and conquer!)

Seems you've prob already been to [link] & the other resources listed in the RH column. That's the best resource there is. Look at the tutorials too - they really make controlling the app more enjoyable. I also like 3DHack (required for half of the plugins) and 7 by xyrus02 [link] . He is the creator/author of Tacitus and 7. Check out his gallery - it's awesome! Other links will take you to SourceForge where all the apps are available. Happy Fractaling!! I'll certainly look for your scripts when they're posted - next week you say?

Wonderful, wonderful!! This would make a great coral fractalet in an undersea fractal collage. Terrific color and texture. Nice job!

Thank you, very much! It took some trickery to get the color - starts out with equal weights... My other attempt is here [link] ...

The other attempt is nice, but this one has everything going for it: texture, color, sharpness, detail, depth! I really, really like this one. Playing with the weights and the color symmetry can really change the look of the image. If you ever have a fractal that almost looks like what you want, start playing with those elements and you can be surprised at how much the image can change.

I see your point & Thank You again. The texture was the easy part, the color took some doing. I'm glad you like it!!! And, i like it best too... You'd be welcome to use it in a composition if the need ever occurs!
