Description
This is my graduate film from Sheridan College. It's been online for a while now, but I'm just getting a chance now to post it on DA.In short, we get from September to the end of March to make our short films. I ended up restarting mine at the beginning of February : |
So if anyone was wondering why I don't have backgrounds in there, it's because I had absolutely no time and wanted to focus on my animation. Thanks for watching!

Aw, so nice to see an animation ACTUALLY animated. The unfinished aspect can be forgiven, for you have done amazing sequences, very fluid and rhythmic. And for an animator, what is most important than learning this? Your work needs no clean up and colors to show how well done it was. Not supporting unfinished projects, but telling the truth, many graduate films over DDs are clean and shiny, but stiff. Congratulations, well well well deserved.

Thanks, I drew everything on paper. The only program I used was Flipbook to shoot (take pictures) of my animation.

Most 2D animation you see in theatres is done this way. It's first animated roughly (like my film). Then it goes to the clean-up department so that they can re-draw everything cleanly so it can be easily coloured. Then it gets coloured in the computer (nowadays).

Wow, really smooth movement, and great facial expressions! The music is really great too and the sound effects are a subtle way to really make the film stand out. I also love how the tiger cub bounces at the end!
