Description
This is my graduate film from Sheridan College. It's been online for a while now, but I'm just getting a chance now to post it on DA.In short, we get from September to the end of March to make our short films. I ended up restarting mine at the beginning of February : |
So if anyone was wondering why I don't have backgrounds in there, it's because I had absolutely no time and wanted to focus on my animation. Thanks for watching!

Yeah, my film is all pencil tests. No clean-up or anything.
Hahaha, I'm in Toronto right now. If there aren't really any animators in your area you can check out an online school like iAnimate.net. Lots of great pros teaching animation!

i drew animations on Nintendo Dsi (Flipnote Studio) but i can long make 1 minute per animation and tinte necesary, this is magic, is just like a 3 moths of work and so hard traini g

This is absolutely charming and entertaining to watch. I like the simple storytelling and the characters. The little swinging motion of the baby elephant's trunk every time he makes a slight movement makes me gush and uncontrollable awing noise. It was very well animated and I'm sure you'll go far!

I see a future Disney guy and you went to the right school where they breed you guys perfectly for their stuff. A ton of Disney/Pixar guys come from CalArts or Sheridan. With this, you'd fit right in. Very beautiful. I wish my traditional animation was this good.

Thanks for the compliment! Even though some Sheridan students go on to work in feature, it's all about how much work you put into it. There are also tons of people in the industry that came from schools I never heard of before or from a different field all together. It's all about how hard you work and how bad you want it

Exactly. I came from VanArts myself (in Vancouver, BC). I was definitely bottom tier in talent in my class at the start, but I worked really hard, listened to my instructors always, applied what they said, spent extra time after class, and it really paid off. I also got much better and learned even more out here in the industry. I still want to break into television animation one day. I think I'd have a much easier time if I was Canadian. You guys have a lot of opportunity in that area.

This is TOO BEAUTIFUL!! I love 2D animation in its raw form, its perfect!! The baby elephant with his little toot, and his crying captured my AWWWWW side. But then that baby tiger came . . . AWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!! Perfect! Well done to you and your team.

Thanks so much! The only other person who helped out was . She did the design for the tiger and actually did a couple poses where he's super sad. She also made the elephant design cuter than what I originally drew.
