MGA is responsible for the adorable Novi Stars line, including Mimi Merize, as pictured here. I understand that I am not the target demographic for these dolls, however, I find them irresistibly adorable. Out of respect for the intended demographic, anything I share having to do with them will remain worksafe.

Very nice. I don't usually favorite this kind of thing, but this piece has some charm to it.

Thank you very much. I knew I wanted to draw Mimi from the first time I saw her. I tried to stay true to her original design, which is very busy so a few things had to be simplified or omitted. A friend told me that this looks like her "animated series" version; somewhat simplified to give the animators a fighting chance.
Also, I seem to have completely forgotten her antennae.

Ah. I see. I'm not familiar with the character, so I didn't know that the original design had been altered. Still, I really like the way you've drawn the two of them. Their stances make it clear who is in control and who is mindlessly hypnotized.
