What if Batman existed in the Star Wars universe? Here is my guess with a piece of crossover fan art for my last post for the year!

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...

A large city planet on the edge of the galaxy, called Gotham, thrived due to the efforts of Way'ne Innovations, a planet wide company lead by Thomas and Martha Wayne, who managed to keep peace among the Gothamites in the midst of the Clone Wars. However, the war soon ended and the Empire rose from its ashes..

The Way'ne's were betrayed by the Republic they swore their allegiance too and were shot down by Clonetroopers right in front of their twelve year old son, Bruce. Left with no one but his caretaker, a protocol droid named ALFA-Red3, the young boy swore vengeance on the Empire and left his home planet to train himself to fight back.

During his journey, he trained with many masters from various worlds while avoiding the Empire. He traveled to Mandalore and for years trained under their leader, Bo-Katan Kryze, in the ways of the Mandalorians, until the Empire arrived to conquer them. Bo-Katan gifted her pupil with armor of his own and sent him away. His continuing journey led him to the planet Nanda Parbat, where he joins Ra's Al Ghul, a fallen Jedi who narrowly survived Order 66 and was disillusioned by the way of the Jedi Order, and now seeks to start his own order of warriors that have no need to rely on the force. For many years, Bruce learned the ways of lightsaber combat and quickly became Ra's' most prized pupil. He was taken to Illum to create his own lightsaber. However, there, Bruce realized his master had fallen to the dark side himself, and used his Mandalorian training to combat the Sith Lord and escape.

Sixteen years after the rise of the Empire, twenty eight year old Bruce returned to the planet of Gotham and reclaimed his family's ownership of their company, Inspired by a fight he had with a large bat-like creature he encountered on Lothal, Bruce invigorated the design of the bat into his Mandalorian armor and took up his lightsaber to fight corruption by the Empire across the planet as the Gotham's Dark Knight, Batman.

His efforts even inspire many Gothamites to join the brewing Rebel Alliance, who learned of the Batman's actions and often request his aid, leading to a longstanding partnership between the dark knight and rebellion commander James Gor'Don. However, they often face their fair share of problems outside of the Empire, including the Joker, a mysterious and psychotic Dathomirian with bleached skin and a wicked smile who loves the challenge of fighting the Dark Knight. Batman takes it upon himself to fight not only the Empire, but any who might do harm to the planet and lock them up in a Rebel facility stationed on Arkham, one of Gotham's three moons.

And there you have it, my last post for 2020! I certainly hope to do a follow up, maybe introduce the Star Wars version of Robin and Batgirl perhaps.
