EDIT: Video Links updated!I've been working on this model for the past month or so in collaboration with A.B. Cruz, based off one of his Armament Factory designs. This is still very much a work in progress since making it transform without cheating is pretty tedious. Transforming models take planning and headaches. Excellent. I like the 'Generation One' style, where you can see everything has its place, i.e., you can imagine how the robot transforms.

Awesome design. I like the classic transformers over the Michael Bay-bots, at least the classic transformations make sense. As someone who's build their own transformer (a Skyline bay-bot, no less), this is really awesome. Although it might be a good idea to add an air-scoop/intake manifold on the hood, to make it easier for the head to come out.

Cripes do I ever understand the tediousness of transformation. I can only imagine that the movie versions are nightmares.

My suspicion is that the movie transformers cheat a bit and if they don't they're too busy to make a logical assumption how they transform anyways. Making this transform has taken about 3x as long as a normal model *grumble*.
