Starcraft 2: Terran Lab WallsModeled by Phill Gonzales, final texture pass by Steve Provost
These were modeled off the cinematic concepts from the beginning lab missions. These were placeholder art which showed how panels could be removed from the wall to create more visual variety. The final textures were done by Steve Provost.

These are absolutely one of my favourite object in the editor, it's so useful and it's great for not just walls, but other buildings as well. Very good work!

Glad you like them! Modular pieces that work on so many levels are time consuming to make but usually worth it!

A while back I mentioned how much of the WoL terrain art wasn't quite up to par with the amazing faction art...well, HotS definitely fixed that. If anything I'd say the terrain art is my favorite now.

Does this mean a return of the complex crawler missions from the classic? (an example being Zerg Mission "the Amerigo")

There are definitely more crawler missions with no base building!

Yes, but I was talking about interior lab missions, where you're crawling exclusively in an interior structure.
