A small smile formed on Saori's pink lips, as she put a stack of books neatly on the bookcase shelves. Libraries are usually quiet places, even boring for some, but college libraries tend to be a bit livelier. Students come and go, looking for books for their papers and classes or simply to study and do their research on the library's computers. But during the evenings when most of them left, it was among Saori's favourite moments. It's not like she disliked people, on the contrary she was willing to offer her guidance and assistance to anyone who might need it and her kind personality, along with her impressive looks, quickly made her everyone's favourite librarian in the campus. But the lovely brunette also enjoyed some piece and quiet, something that she was missing from when she left her small, nature filled village and arrived to a busy urban center like Skyland City. Despite that, she had grown to enjoy her new life in the big city, but still appreciated these small moments of peace and quiet, when she would stay alone in the library to tidy up and close up. Sometimes however, the beautiful brunette would get guests at these hours, in fact she was usually visited by a certain redhead history professor.

"Staying up late again, miss Yoshino?" a light voice was heard, Saori's smile getting a bit bigger before she turned around.

"Someone needs to tidy up a bit. Libraries are supposed to be organized, after all. How about you, miss Swan? Looking for that tome on the Marian Reforms of the Roman Legions?" Saori said.

"Actually I got that just the other day. This time, I was thinking more like giving you hand around here, so you can clean up a bit quicker" Emily said.

"Oh, I am pretty much done. Just a few more books to put them back to their categories. But, thank you. I do appreciate the offer" Saori smiled.

"Good, then show me where these books are" Emily said, raising her sleeves.

"It's okay, no need to bother! You've been having classes all day, you must be exhausted. Please, do not trouble yourself with me" Saori said, timidly.

"It's no trouble at all! Besides, I rather enjoy your company!" Emily said lightly.

"Really? That's, quite nice of you!" Saori mumbled, slightly raising the book she was holding.

"Not to mention that if we get finished around here quickly, we'll be able to go for that drink I mentioned the other day! If you'd like, of course!" Emily said with a charming smile. The lovely librarian felt her face heat up, a soft shade of pink gracing her pretty face.

"Well, I suppose it wouldn't be too bad to go out a bit. So sure, I'd think I'd really like that!" Saori said with a sweet smile, causing Emily to beam at her joyfully.

"Okay great, it's a date then! Let's finish up around here and get going!" Emily said enthusiastically, lifting a stack of books and moving towards a bookcase. Saori simply looked at her, her blushing getting more intense but her smile getting brighter before she put a few books back to their shelves, feeling both a bit nervous and yet excited for the rest of the night.

When not fighting human and supernatural threats or sealing gates to the spirit dimension as the heroic Night Lotus, Saori turns from a formidable heroine and stealthy kunoichi a diligent and quiet librarian in the Skyland City College. Whether offering her aid to the students and the visitors or organizing and archiving books and tomes, Saori enjoys the mostly calm and quiet environment. She also seems to have drawn the interest of a particular redhead professor. Interest that she finds rather pleasant, and could possibly be mutual, as well.
