A perfect portrayal of sybarite. There's no attractive "rebel spirit" or sheer dark power in this devil - just excessive, abused (if I use this word correctly) luxury.Β
Just like apartments of Ukrainian politicians.Β

Satan never rests--he even conducts business while in the tub! Β The details here--angel portrait, crosses on slipper in-soles and the zodiac bath tiles are perfect!

Are the crosses on the inside of his slippers as a sign of disrespect?Β

As usual you blow my mind with your work.
Love the fact that this isn't digitally done.
And the perspective.
So fucking natural.
Awesome work man!!!

Could you give some tips on using this technique?Β

Huh, it is a complicated question to which I do not have a simple answer... For me, it is much easier to do that than to explain how I did it. Believe it or not I do not think too much about technique. I always focus on the idea of my work and the rest is just a consequence...

But, in general, at first you do the pencil work, then you lay first watercolor layer upon which shades are built and finally you use gouache or watercolor pencils to draw details such as highlights. Am I right, or there's different order to it?Β

Then, I have few questions to ask.
How thick and dark are lines of your pencil work?
Are your pencil drawings detailed, or majority of details is added in later stages of painting?
How dark/transparent is initial layer of watercolor, and what colors are best for it?Β
