“Well there is some good news. Caroline it appears your shrinking has stopped. More over it appears that you should be able to eat the cells cultured on this dish for food.” Zoey paused for her statement to be sampled, pitched up and retransmitted into the Petri dish.

After some time she could see Caroline’s lips moving and about 30 second later the computer voiced, “That’s great! How long until a method to reverse this is ready.”

Zoey paused, “We have some mixed news there. A treatment should be ready within a month, but we will only be able to make you as tall as an action figure. That was when we first injected the tracer into you. It’s provided us excellent information but we won’t be able to extrapolate what it would have told us earlier. I’m so sorry. Don’t worry though, we have all chipped in and got you a killer dollhouse. You should see it, it’s better than our apartment. Oh and Nate is working on a means to replicate all of your stuff in that scale. It will be like before just with a house to yourself.”

Zoey notices when Caroline hears the news she plops down on her rear, grabs a cell and tears it apart. She can see her cry softly and the voice a reply. “Just like before when you wake me whenever you want. Just this time if I don’t reply you will just pick me up and shove me in your pocket. It’s something I guess…”
