“Those look great on you, Alison!”Looking down from her phone, she shrieked to see her friends at her ankles. “What happened to you?”
Paul pat her toe. When he used to pat her shoulder it would feel like he could break it, so it was odd to barely feel anything. She giggled when he nearly toppled over when she wiggled her toe back.
“Seems they thought we were shoplifting, so the store clerk shrank us. When they determined we weren’t, he realized they had no antidotes on hand. She said that more were coming tomorrow and apologized profusely. She even offered to put us up for the night, but we declined when we saw you were here.” Paul explained after stabilizing himself.
“Sleep over!” Erica screamed happily.
Alison placed her purse on the floor. “Climb in…but know I have a date tonight. So don’t think I’ll be entertaining you three.”
The three nodded and skillfully jumped into Alison’s purse. She sighed and snapped it shut, tempted to snatch that shrink ray from the store clerk and shrink her too for the inconvenience she has caused.
